frequently asked questions
What about masks?
Throughout Covid-19, as a church, we have taken our cues from our local leaders regarding our safety measures for onsite gatherings. With the county's shift from a requirement to recommendations on March 29, we have decided that from this point forward, wearing a mask at Grace Point will be left to your personal discretion. We are excited to worship with you whether you choose to wear a mask or not!
What safety precautions will be in place?
We will be providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the building and sanitizing common spaces between services. Greeters will be at the doors to minimize the number of people who have to touch the handles. We will not be serving coffee or snacks and will block the water fountains. If you feel you may need water, please bring a bottle from home.
Will there be environments for my kids?
KidsPoint environments for 8 weeks through 6th grade will be available at the 9am service. KidsPoint environments for ages 2 years to 6th grade will be available at the 11am service. If you would like to be added to the KidsPoint email list and be kept up to date by Niki, Julie, & Rhonda, please contact us at 273-4200 or email@example.com.
How will Grace Point practice social distancing?
The physical space of our building often limits how we will be able to physically distance from each other, especially in areas like our lobby and our KidsPoint check-in area. To help us in these areas we ask that if you want to come before or stay after service to connect with friends and family, please do that outside the building. We have lots of grassy areas for small groups to congregate including the park and playground.
We have additional worship space available in Tandem (the youth room) that allows greater social distancing during the service.
What if I’m not comfortable coming back?
That is ok! We encourage each person to think about what is best for themselves and their families, and if now is not the right time for your return, we will continue to worship with you in spirit. We will continue to stream our 11am Sunday services on our website, Facebook and YouTube.
