The [far from] Perfect Family: Part 3 - The Encounter
He stole his brother’s blessing but was cheated by his uncle and now finds himself in between two family members. If he returns home, he has to deal with his brother; if he stays, he has to deal with his uncle. This family conflict brings Jacob face-to-face with who he is and whether he trusts God. It’s a place we’ll eventually find ourselves too. Whether we cause the conflict or it’s thrust upon us, we can learn to trust God in the midst of it.
